Brian Mitchell is the NFL's second all-time leader in total yardage with 23,330 yards. His special team's numbers consist of 14,014 yards from kickoff returns and his 4,999 punt return yards. Both are NFL records, and his 875 postseason kickoff return yards are a record as well. His other numbers include rushing for 1,967 yards on 388 carries (avg. 5.1 rushing yards), pulling in 255 passes for 2,336 yards, recovered 20 fumbles for 14 return yards, and scored 29 touchdowns.
Since retiring Brian Mitchell has established a career in television and radio. Mitchell is the co-host of ESPN 980's "Inside The Locker Room" with Rick Walker and local broadcaster Scott Jackson.
